We used Elephant herd 5 times when we were in Hazyview. They pick you up direct from your lodge at the exact time. I can remember all the guides as they were all fabulous. Smiley and V took us out on our full day safaris, Remember took us for our early morning one and Jason took us out on our panoramic tour. They were all professional and a wealth of knowledge. We enjoyed all our days with them. For our night safari, elephant herd booked it through SAN parks as they are the only ones allowed in Kruger after dark, but elephant herd picked us up and dropped us to Phabeni gate for the tour. I would highly recommend this company, they can arrange anything you want and communicate fabulously with you through WhatsApp with Bev. We saw the big five !!! Our guide, “V,” was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also had an uncanny ability to know exactly where to look for the Big Five. His driving skills were outstanding, and he made the entire experience comfortable and exciting. We were lucky enough to see 4 of the Big Five — we only missed the rhino, which is extremely rare and well-protected, making sightings very difficult. In addition to the Big Five, we spotted hyenas, impalas, zebras, giraffes,even the super rare sable antelope and much more— a real treat! If you’re planning a trip to Kruger National Park, I cannot recommend this company enough. Our group of four booked them for two private game drives and our airport transfer (Hazyview to Johannesburg). Booking was very easy, and René was always quick to answer questions and help us get payments processed. Trevor was our guide and driver for everything, and he was fantastic! He is full of information about the plants and animals, and he knew how to find all of the animals we wanted to see. Having a private booking meant he could look for what we were most interested in, and we could watch things for as long as we wanted. Our full day game drive was the highlight of our trip. Bev took care of all our planning and organization - she was incredibly responsive and handled all communication with the lodges. We did 2 safari game drives through Kruger, a panorama tour, and 2 nights in a private game reserve. Our guid Luvoyo was extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to making sure we had the best time. We had awesome viewing of a pride of lions, hyenas, wild dogs, rhinocerous, giraffes, numerous elephants, a cheetah, and leopard. I would highly recommend them!
