Day 1

Welcome to South Africa & Championship Golf

Your journey begins the moment you touch down at O.R. Tambo International Airport, where a friendly representative greets you and assists with your luggage before transferring you to your hotel. After settling in, you head out for your first round of golf at either Serengeti Golf Estate or Ebotse Links—two world-class courses known for immaculate fairways, challenging layouts, and sweeping Highveld views.

Serengeti offers a modern desert-style design with dramatic bunkers and wide landing areas, while Ebotse delivers a true links experience set around picturesque lakes. After your game, return to your accommodation for a relaxing evening. Enjoy a delicious dinner (or dinner transfer), followed by a restful night.

Day 2

Transfer to Dullstroom & Highland Gate’s Mountain Golf

After breakfast, your adventure continues with a scenic 2.5-hour drive from Johannesburg to the charming village of Dullstroom—famous for its trout dams, misty hills, and cool highland atmosphere.

This afternoon, tee off at the spectacular Highland Gate Golf Course, an Ernie Els signature design carved into rolling mountains and dramatic valleys. Every hole offers breathtaking scenery, elevation changes, and a rewarding challenge for golfers of all levels.

After golf, unwind at your Dullstroom lodge, where a warm fire, crisp mountain air, and a hearty included dinner await.

Day 3

A Full Day of Wildlife in the Kruger National Park

Today the focus shifts from fairways to the wild, as you enjoy an unforgettable full-day safari in the world-renowned Kruger National Park. After an early morning departure, you’ll enter the park just as the bush comes alive, giving you the best chance to spot Africa’s iconic wildlife in their natural habitat.

Spend the day exploring Kruger’s vast and diverse landscapes in a comfortable, open safari vehicle, guided by an experienced professional who will share fascinating insights into the animals, birdlife, and ecosystems of the park. Keep your camera ready for potential sightings of the Big Five, as well as giraffe, zebra, antelope, and a wide variety of bird species.

A mid-day stop allows time to relax, enjoy lunch at one of the park’s rest camps (own account), and take in the unique atmosphere of the African bush before continuing your afternoon game drive.

As the day draws to a close, you’ll exit the park with incredible memories and stories to share, returning to your accommodation in the evening to unwind and reflect on a truly authentic safari experience—an ideal complement to your golfing adventure.

Skukuza Golf & Afternoon Safari

Enjoy a memorable morning round at Skukuza Golf Course, one of the most unique golf experiences in the world. Situated inside the Kruger National Park, this unfenced course offers an unforgettable blend of golf and wildlife—where impala, hippos, and even the occasional big cat have been known to wander across the fairways.

After golf, enjoy a relaxed break before heading out on an afternoon safari, the perfect time to witness predators becoming active as temperatures cool.
Return to your Hazyview lodge for a delicious dinner and a peaceful night in the Lowveld.
