Enjoy 4 days of safari with us in our open safari vehicles for the ultimate safari feel. With a dedicated & passionate team, you will leave this safari absolutely fulfilled. We will also head off into the Drakensberg Mountains to explore the wonders of the Panorama Route from the escarpment. Accommodation will be based in Hazyview -merely a 10/15 minute drive from Phabeni Gate. This package includes return airport transfers, bed & breakfast, dinner transfers and all conservation fees.

Day 1

JHB Transfer to Dreamfields Guest House & KNP Afternoon Safari

On arrival in Hazyview with the minibus shuttle service, you will be collected by an Elephant Herd Tours & Safaris guide and transported to your accommodation at Dreamfields Guest House. After enjoying a welcome drink in the beautiful & bird-rich gardens of the guesthouse, you will have about 2 hours to unpack and relax before your guide collects you for your first safari. You will be accompanied by your dedicated field guide for your safaris in the Kruger National Park.
On this relaxed afternoon safari, you will get a sneak preview of what you can expect your other two safaris with a focus on the plains game such as zebra, giraffe and various antelope, although the park is always full of surprises and there may be one for you just around the corner.

You will return to your guesthouse early evening after your safari and your dinner transfer to one of the various restaurants in the area will be arranged at a time suitable to you.

Day 2

Full Day Kruger National Park Safari

Your safari to the Kruger will start before sunrise in our open safari vehicle which allows you to view animals from a higher vantage point and a perfect panoramic view. Your guide will use his expert knowledge to search for, and find, the iconic animals in the park as well as interpreting the natural environment.
You will stop at various lookout points, waterholes and rivers during your safari to increase your chances of seeing as many of the fauna & flora as well as breathtaking scenery of the different areas of the park.
Breakfast packs will be provided by the guesthouse for you to enjoy at one of the picnic spots or rest camps. At approximately mid-day there will be lunch break should you wish to purchase a lunch snack or simply stretch your legs.
You will return to the guesthouse late afternoon after your safari, just in time for a sundowner drink at the pool & the dinner transfer will be arranged at a time suitable to you.

Day 3

Blyde River Canyon Panorama Tour

After a leisurely breakfast at your guesthouse, we head out to explore the beauty and splendour of the majestic northern point of the Drakensberg Mountain ranges escarpment, unveiling the endless views of the Lowveld from Gods Window, become absorbed by the sheer cutting power of the water as it carves away at Bourkes Luck Potholes before we head off to see the wonders of the Blyde River Canyon – the largest green canyon in the world.
Time permitting, after lunch in the quiet town of Graskop we will stop off at a few of the waterfalls such as Lone Creek, Lisbon & Berlin Falls on route whilst making your way back to the guesthouse for a welcome swim and a cold beverage.

Day 4

Kruger Morning Safari & Transfer to JHB

Enjoy your final early morning game drive with a coffee and breakfast snack stop in the heart of the bushveld, expert rangers will ensure that your safari experience is truly memorable. Enjoy breakfast on the deck overlooking the dry riverbed where many animals may pass by before you depart for your transfer back to the minibus shuttle service pick up point for your transfer back to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, feeling absolutely fulfilled and ready to come back for round 2.

Should you wish to stay an additional day in the private game reserve, this can be organised at an additional cost.
